Replacing a rotting window sill

This southern facing window sill had rotted off but the framing remained intact. A replacement piece was fitted & attached to the intact wood. Many layers of fillers, caulks, paints and flashings were applied and overlayed to ensure longevity of the new piece.

Chimney Repair

The mortar and cap of this chimney was beginning to crumble. The bricks were largely intact so the stack was able to be saved. The old mortar and cap were chipped and ground away. New mortar was tuckpointed in and a new, reinforced cement cap was poured on top.

Siding Replacement

The southern-facing side of this home had taken a beating from the elements. Some of the old shake was falling off and the threshold of the door was rotten. I fixed all the rot and replaced the siding on the whole face.

Deck Expansion

The walkup to this house was a bit odd. I extended the landing, added a few steps and some pavers to make the approach more cohesive.

Adding Kitchen cabinets

The corner of these kitchen cabinets was dead space. I put in a corner cabinet and moved the existing ones to each side to provide more space.
